Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which is located just a block away from the beach and in the vibrant Ipanema neighborhood. The rooms were tidy and well-designed, and the staff was eager to help. While the breakfast was satisfactory and the bar was nice to unwind at, I did encounter a couple of communication issues with some staff members. Overall, for the price I paid, it's certainly a great value for a trip to Rio.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was fantastic, right near the beach and close to shopping. However, the room was outdated and noisy, making it hard to relax. While the staff was friendly, the overall value for the price wasn't great, especially during peak season. I enjoyed the usage of beach umbrellas and chairs, which is a nice touch for guests.
The hotel is conveniently located just a couple of minutes from the beautiful Ipanema beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand. While the breakfast options were fresh and enjoyable, the overall experience was marred by the rundown condition of the rooms and the not-so-friendly service. Although the rooftop restaurant offered stunning views, the hotel itself felt overpriced for what it offered, especially since the rooms and facilities are in dire need of renovation.
I had a majorly disappointing stay. While the location is fantastic, just a half block from Ipanema Beach, the hotel itself is in dire need of renovation. The staff were polite, but the rooms were outdated, with a very noisy air conditioning unit and issues like mildew in the bathroom. It did have good cable TV, but it didn't make up for the overall uncleanliness and discomfort. I had to cut my stay short and move to a better-quality hotel nearby.
